John and the guy who cleaned the head all agreed that deleting the egr would make a tremendous difference in my carbon build up. Lowering my chances of having a glow plug tip fusing to the carbon and breaking off.
EGR is the least of your worries, do a search on vegetable oil and how you convert it to biodiesel, stripping off the glycerol off the backbone of the Esters. Burn glycerol (from WVO), and it leaves a sticky mess, just like it does in a frying pan when you have a kitchen fire. All that goo ends up in your piston lands and rings, sticking and gumming up your rings, your motor oil (no wonder your oil pump chain failed) as a by product of combustion of any vegetable oil, waste or otherwise.Post a Comment
